Porcelain China
China is a vast and extensive land home to countless groups each with its own culture and traditions. Yet for all its diversity, certain threads through of China's long history – dragons, jade, silk, porcelain, to name a few. To examine the facets of China, we will see the 3 of its tradition bearers Ancient – Museum of Shanghai, Beijing and the Jade Museum Hong Kong Heritage Museum.
The Shanghai Museum is home to a fabulous collection of ancient Chinese art in its 11 galleries and 3 exhibition halls. The permanent galleries showcase artifacts representative of the main sections of Chinese art, namely, antique bronze, pottery old, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, ancient, ancient jade, coins, Ming and Qing furniture, seals, and minority nationalities.
A look through Shanghai Museum allows you to see the many innovations of the Chinese. For example, China was among the first countries to use money as a medium of exchange. The Gallery Currency of China contains nearly 7000 coins of early samples.
The ceramic exhibition held in China in the Shanghai Museum pieces include tricolor Tan dynasty blue, black and white glazed porcelain, and said the song, Jin and Liao dynasties. A visit here is a must for any connoisseur of Chinese culture.
Another quintessentially Chinese treasures can be seen on the stamps include the Shanghai Museum of China. These are stamps that contain characters were printed in Chinese documents, contracts, and works of art to prove the identity and authenticity. The oldest date back 3,000 years.
And now to our second museum, the Jade Museum in Beijing's Forbidden City, once the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. From 1924, is home of the Palace Museum which houses an extensive collection mostly from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Jade has been central to Chinese culture for millennia. In ancient China known as "the essence of heaven and earth" and "the crown jewel." If its value exceeds that of gold and Chinese symbolizing nobility perfection, constancy and immortality.
The collection of jade in the Jade Museum in Beijing is a wonderful place to admire the items made from this most of Chinese materials. The screen has about 30,000 pieces, with the earliest dating from the Neolithic period.
Hong Kong is a very special China from 1841 to 1997 was administered by another country, Britain. During these 156 years of colonial rule, Hong Kong, developed from a fishing village to the power Asian economic and financial. Today Hong Kong still has a sense Boomtown frantic, but also offers an oasis of calm in the form of parks, temples one islands. To explore the past of this special place, visit the Hong Kong Heritage Museum in Sha Tin disctict.
Housed in a 3-storey purpose-built structure in the shape of a Chinese ancestral temple, Hong Kong Heritage Museum has 6 six permanent exhibition galleries – New Territories Heritage Hall (with models traditional shops and a Hakka fishing village), Children's Discovery Gallery, Cantonese Opera Heritage Hall, TTTsui China Art Gallery, exhibiting objects Tsui Museum of ancient art, and Chao Shao-an Gallery. There are also six thematic galleries for temporary exhibitions.
It's easy to get overwhelmed in China and the feeling out knowing less than when you arrived. But the visit of these great museums in China and you'll find in this great country is not so inscrutable after everything. Before traveling to China, make sure the reserves are in place.
